Context-Aware Reasoning Application

Reasoning application using a large language model with retrieval-augmented generation. The app, an AirBnB recommendation system utilizing the bstraehle/airbnb-san-francisco-202403-embed dataset, demonstrates a text generation use case with naive and advanced RAG.

  • Submit the sample prompt below and set "Retrieval-Augmented Generation" to "Off". The LLM without RAG does not provide an answer.
  • Set "Retrieval-Augmented Generation" to "Naive". The LLM with Naive RAG provides an answer with lower accuracy. Retrieval uses semantic search only.
  • Set "Retrieval-Augmented Generation" to "Advanced". The LLM with Advanced RAG provides an answer with higher accuracy. Retrieval uses semantic search, pre-retrieval processing (index filter), and post-retrieval processing (re-ranking based on weighted average review).
Gradio UI using the OpenAI SDK and MongoDB Atlas Vector Search. Text embedding via text-embedding-3-small model and text generation via gpt-4o-mini model.
